Dr YEE Kim Ku - ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr Kim Ku is a specialist endocrinologist who has been in practice since 2009. She is a University of Queensland graduate and undertook her advanced specialty training at Princess Alexandra Hospital and The Townsville Hospital. Her basic physician training was completed at various hospitals in Queensland, as well as in the United Kingdom and Singapore.
She has expertise in all aspects of diabetes and general endocrinology including pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid and metabolic bone disease. She is a member of the internationally renowned Hypertension team at Greenslopes Hospital working alongside the eminent Professor Michael Stowasser. Dr Ku is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Please note that Dr Ku has no experience or expertise in transgender medicine and will not be of assistance in these areas.
DR PUI Yee (GREECE) WU - ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr Pui Yee (Greece) Wu is a specialist endocrinologist and general physician. She completed her medical degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and internal medicine specialty training in both Endocrinology and General Medicine. Dr Wu was a specialist in Hong Kong for over 10 years at a tertiary public hospital before migrating to Australia with her family.
Dr Wu provides quality care to patients with general endocrine conditions and diabetes. She has a special interest in managing conditions of the pituitary gland. Please note that Dr Wu has no experience in transgender medicine and will not be able to assist in this area.
Dr Wu can speak fluent Cantonese and some Mandarin. Currently, she practices privately at Suite 21 and publically as a staff specialist in Redland Hospital.
Dr Wu is a caring doctor to patients and engages constructively with general practice and specialty colleagues. For leisure, she enjoys cooking and singing. She is a Choir member of St Barnabas Anglican Church. She looks forward to working with the general practice and patient community of the Sunnybank area.
DR Chee Shang TANG - ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr Chee Shang Tang is a dual trained specialist physician in both endocrinology and general medicine. She completed her medical education in the United Kingdom and moved to Australia to undertake her specialist training at the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Hospitals. She has been staff specialist at Redlands Hospital since 2020 and holds a current appointment as Deputy Director Physician of Education.
Dr Tang is available to see patients with all general endocrine conditions and diabetes, including pregnant women. Please note that Dr Tang has no experience in transgender medicine and will not be able to assist in this area.
Dr Tang is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Dr Tang promotes patient-centred care with an emphasis on cultural diversity. Originating from Malaysia, Dr Tang has practised in various countries which has helped her to understand and interact effectively with patients from diverse cultures. Outside work, she enjoys spending her time with her family and two Pomeranians.
